Basic English Composition, also known as called Spoken English, is a guide to the fundamental concepts and techniques for speaking English. It’s also designed to provide you with the ability to communicate in English in different academic and social situations as well as to increase your knowledge of non-academic as well as academic spoken language.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS COURSE
Through the course, you will be exposed to a variety of activities and techniques that assist in boosting your confidence and encourage further development in the field of speech communication. The emphasis of the course is on your abilities to detect and articulate certain sounds that are used to speak English. In addition, specific exercises that focus on learning articulate skills and the ability to extract information from listening texts are also taught to use these skills to build your “discussion abilities.’
Spoken English will also help you develop your own speaking and listening skills. Spoken English Course will allow you to be able to take charge of your own education by encouraging you to tackle your weaknesses on your own of your speaking and listening abilities.

COURSE AIMS
The objectives of this course are:
I. will give you a thorough training on spoken English,
ii. Introduce you to the audio system of English,
iii. Develop your pronunciation skills to the point that your speech sounds naturally
comprehendible for the listener
iv. introduce you to the characteristics of non-segmental and segmental sound
v. correct your pronunciation problems
